My responsibilities as a tutor

I will always try to create the best possible environment for your learning. This includes regular check-ins about your progress and interests, adapting to your learning profile, age, level...

I will share links prior to session for online tutoring, and answer email correspondence within 5 working days, unless on annual leave.

I am also responsible for paying taxes to the relevant UK authorities on any income I receive from you. Prices displayed on my website are inclusive of all taxes, you won't have anything else to pay.

Your responsibilities as a learner

• Age: ​Learners must be aged 18 years old or over.​

Learners under 18 must be represented by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian will have to give consent for the learner to receive tuition, and relevant communication by email, phone, or face-to-face if appropriate.​

For group sessions with children, a parent or guardian must be present for a maximum of 2 children. This means than if the group consists of 4 children aged between 3 and 9 years old, for instance, 2 adults must be present at all times throughout the session. Feeling safe and comfortable is incredibly important to children's learning, and I want us to provide the best environment for this.

• Technology: I can't be held responsible for any failure of technology, should you be unable to connect to the videoconferencing system necessary for our online sessions.

Payment

After the session has taken place, any session must be paid within 48 hours. You will receive my invoice with bank details by email after each session. Payments can be made by bank transfer, or, for in-person sessions, by cash too.

 ​

It is possible to pay for several sessions in advance, to avoid making a payment each time.

Cancellation policy

Sessions are non-refundable. 

If you can't attend a session, please notify me as soon as possible, and at the latest more than 24 hours prior the session. We will re-schedule the session at no cost if it is possible.

A session cancelled within 24 hours will remain payable in full.
